FAQs

What is Jesuit Gives Back?

Jesuit Gives Back is an annual fundraising campaign for Jesuit High School. This 24-hour Day of Giving is an exciting way for our community to support the school we love.

Where does my Day of Giving gift go?

Donors may designate their gift to the area of greatest need, financial aid, or a specific special fund. Wherever you decide to give, your support will make a measurable difference and directly advance Jesuit's mission.

What is "the area of greatest need"?

Giving to the area of greatest need provides Jesuit High School with the resources to respond quickly to emerging opportunities, such as financial aid.

Who can participate?

Alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff, and friends of Jesuit are all encouraged to support on Day of Giving! At the end of the giving form, you can select your affiliation and choose the role(s) that best represents your connection to the community.

Can I donate via Venmo?

Yes you can! Please submit payment to @JesuitPDX on Venmo and make sure to put your information in the "notes" box (name, address, phone, email, etc.) for a donation receipt to be sent at a later date. Your Venmo donation may not immediately show on the Donor Wall as these gifts are entered manually.

Is there a minimum or maximum donation limit?

No - every gift counts. Thanks to the support of generous donors, many gifts will be matched dollar-for-dollar, amplifying the impact of your gift however big or small.

Do we accept Donor Advised Funds (DAF)?

Yes! We now accept Donor Advised Funds through DAFpay on the JesuitGivesBack.org website when you check out or you can contact kcerri@jesuitportland.org with any other DAF questions.

Can I qualify for multiple matches/challenges?

Yes - head over to the "Challenges" page to see how you can double or triple the impact of your gift.

Is my payment secure?

Yes - Jesuit Gives Back is facilitated by Graduway, a giving platform that helps nonprofits raise money and engage donors. Graduway partners with Stripe, a PCI Service Provider Level 1, to process securely all gifts made through jesuitgivesback.org.

Can I send a gift by mail or phone?

Yes - If you would like to make a gift by phone on February 15, please call Diane Salzman, Vice President for Development, at 503-291-5497. If you would like to mail a check, please make the check payable to Jesuit High School and mail to:

Will I have to pay credit card fees?

No, there are no credit card fees.

What if I already made a gift to Jesuit High School this year?
